Getting started on Synthetix Exchange is easy, and can be done in just a few clicks. Before you begin, ensure you have everything you need:
A Wallet or Auth Method: Synthetix Exchange supports most Web3 wallets, such as Phantom or Metamask, etc.
Margin Collateral: You can deposit any of the supported collateral types on Ethereum Mainnet. If you do not have assets on Ethereum yet, you can purchase them on a centralized exchange, bridge from other networks, or swap from other assets on Ethereum.
A Reliable Network Connection: Perpetual Futures are a tool for active trading. Users should ensure they are able to monitor and manage positions in a 24/7 marketplace.
Connecting & Initial funding
To begin trading, you must connect a wallet, and provide an initial deposit to your account.
Select Connect Wallet in the top-right corner of the trading interface.
Your wallet must be funded with USDT before creating a futures account.
Creating a Trading Account
After your wallet is connected and funded, click Create Account in the top-right corner of the interface. This sets up your perpetual futures account, which is controlled by your wallet.
Linking your Desktop Wallet to Mobile (QR)
1) Connect on desktop
Connect using your wallet extension (e.g., Rabby or MetaMask).
3) Generate the QR code on desktop
On desktop, click the PC + mobile icon in the top-right of the navigation bar.
Sign the pop-up message in your wallet extension.
A QR code will appear.
2) Start linking on mobile
Use your phone camera to scan the QR code shown on your desktop.
5) You’re linked
Your mobile session is now linked to your desktop wallet, and you can trade from your phone.
